Saturday evening. Six more sleeps till my trip to China and Thailand.
Gotta say I am excited and just a wee bit nervous. I am looking forward to a great adventure. Off to Beijing, China on Friday. Three days in China where I will explore Beijing and many of its landmark locations. Tiannamen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and more. Then the biggie.... a trek on the Great Wall of China. Tick. This one will be a tick off the bucket list. Three hours, seven and a half kilometres from the villages of Samatai to Jinshaling. Camera ready!
Then on to Bangkok for four days of exploration... Temples, markets and really great food.
And finally, a week long photography expedition to Chiang Mai in Thailand where we will work on our photography techniques, especially night photography, and have some amazing adventures. Riding elephants, Thai cooking, night markets, and the culmination.... Shooting the Festival of the Lanterns in Chiang Mai.
